Palm Ponytail - 6" Pot - NURSERY POT ONLY

A Little Desert Spirit for Your Indoor Sanctuary

Bring sculptural beauty and easygoing charm home with the Ponytail Palm. Known botanically as Beaucarnea recurvata, this distinctive indoor plant brings a playful silhouette to your space, with long, ribbon-like leaves cascading from a sturdy, swollen trunk. Place it beside a sunny reading nook or on a bright plant stand, and let its relaxed character turn an everyday corner into a little retreat.

Why You'll Love Your Ponytail Palm

• Striking natural shape: Its fountain of slender foliage and rounded trunk make a memorable focal point without needing flowers.
• Water-storing trunk: Adapted to retain moisture, this plant suits a care routine that allows the soil to dry between waterings.
• Easygoing indoor companion: A rewarding choice for plant lovers who prefer a less frequent watering routine.
• Versatile styling: Bring texture to a bright home office, living room, or sunlit corner.

Meet Beaucarnea recurvata

Native to eastern Mexico, the Ponytail Palm is an evergreen perennial. Despite its common name and palm-like appearance, it is not a true palm. Its swollen base stores water, while its gracefully arching leaves give it that unmistakable ponytail look. Enjoy it as a slow-growing indoor accent rather than expecting the towering size it can reach outdoors in suitable conditions.

Ponytail Palm Care Guide

• Light: Choose a bright spot with plenty of indirect light. Introduce stronger direct sunlight gradually rather than moving it abruptly into intense sun.
• Water: Let the potting mix dry between waterings. Water thoroughly, allow excess water to drain, and never leave the pot standing in water.
• Soil and drainage: Use a well-draining potting mix and a container with drainage holes. Its water-storing trunk makes overwatering a bigger concern than an occasional missed watering.
• Environment: Keep indoors in a comfortable, warm location away from cold drafts.
• Routine care: Remove fully dried leaves as needed and check soil moisture before watering rather than following a rigid calendar.
